By Local Bus (OASTH): Take Bus No. 40 from the city center. Get off at the terminal stop in Kalochori village. From there, it is a pleasant 10-to-15-minute walk through the edge of the village to reach the start of the lagoon paths.

Parking: There is a large, unpaved parking area at the entrance of the nature trail. Arriving during the “Golden Hour”—the hour before sunset—is a professional tip to see the flamingos at their most active and the city lights begin to twinkle across the water.
