Dikastika Mini Beach (often referred to locally as part of the rocky shores of Dikastika) is a small, rugged coastal spot in Marathon, Greece, known for its deep blue waters and quiet, unconventional atmosphere.

Atmosphere & Scenic Beauty

• Secluded & Serene: Reviewers describe it as a peaceful escape from the crowded, organized sandy beaches nearby (like Schinias). It is located in a high-end residential area, which gives it a more private and exclusive feel.
• Wild & Natural: It is not your typical “sunbed-and-umbrella” beach. Instead, it offers a dramatic coastline where the pine trees of the Schinias National Park often reach down toward the sea.

Water & Shore Quality

• Rocky Shoreline: There is no sand at this beach. The “shore” consists of rocky platforms and slabs. Most visitors lay their towels directly on the rocks.
• Pristine & Deep Waters: The water is consistently praised for being exceptionally clean, clear, and deep. It is a deep emerald or dark blue color, which is typical for the rocky side of the Marathon gulf.

• Difficult Access: Reaching the water requires a bit of an effort. Visitors must typically navigate steep paths or sets of stairs leading down from the residential streets of Dikastika.
• Swimming Entry: Entry into the sea is often via a jump from the rocks or by using metal ladders installed at certain points. Because of this, it is not recommended for young children or those with mobility issues.

Facilities & Services

• Unorganized: This is a completely unorganized spot. There are no toilets, showers, changing rooms, or beach bars.
• Self-Service: Visitors emphasize the need to bring everything—water, snacks, and especially sturdy shoes for walking on the rocks. There is very little natural shade, so a portable umbrella (if you can secure it on the rock) or plenty of sunscreen is essential.
